SEACON EUROPE has successfully joined the “Support for Hungarian Participation in the EUREKA Programme (2018-2.1.3-EUREKA)” programme announced by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office of Hungary. The joint FLEETHEALTH project proposal, developed in cooperation with the Czech company LEVEL s.r.o., received support both at EU level and in both participating countries.
The overall objective of the joint developments of the two companies is to create an automated data collection solution that goes beyond the usual scope of data collection performed by GPS tracking devices. The solution collects on-board information, including fault codes, from control units and/or additional sensors, supplements this data with values originating from official documents and environmental characteristics, and uses the resulting information to provide an accurate representation of the vehicle’s condition.
FLEETHEALTH: Vehicle health and fraud detection solution for road transport through the development of an advanced on-board unit, communication device and fleet operation support software operating as a cloud-based application.
FLEETHEALTH Project
Our intelligent fleet management solution implements the concept of integrated wireless or wired sensors. During the project, this solution will be complemented with additional electronically collected and processed information in order to detect and monitor vehicle events and to provide information to management information systems (MIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
The solution promises reduced operating costs, more predictable capacities, and positive effects on vehicle “health” and fraud-free operation.
Through the implementation of the FLEETHEALTH project, the existing SEAFLEET product (https://seafleet.hu/) will be elevated to an EU-level solution by integrating the new developments of the Czech company LEVEL (www.positrex.com). By providing objective measurement results, the solution will enable users to make better decisions regarding fleet operation and vehicle use.
This added value in transport will be achieved through the development of two completely new system modules: Vehicle Health and Fraud Detection.
The new modules will be available within the SEAFLEET fleet management system and will be fully integrated into enterprise management processes.
