The conference will take place on November 17–18, 2026, at the Kálmán Kandó Dormitory of Óbuda University in Budapest.

In recent years, the life-cycle perspective has undergone a significant transformation. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is no longer merely a tool for research and decision support; it has become a key element of corporate operations, sustainability reporting, and compliance with European regulations.
The aim of the 21st LCA Conference is to provide a forum for the scientific community, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and sustainability professionals to discuss current issues regarding the circular economy and the transition to sustainability.
The conference places special emphasis on bringing together the results of academic research and practical corporate experience. We particularly welcome the participation of companies, professional organizations, and consultancies that are already addressing the requirements imposed by new European Union regulations.
